But like I said, not much of a reviewer, so here's 6 reasons why I think this unpretentious movie kicks the ass of 99% of the movies that came out the last couple of years.
Gotta warn you, this post is filled with SPOILERS. So don't come complaining later on.

1: It's made by a true fan of the genre, Jason Eisener. How I know he's a true fan of the genere? Cause once upon a time, when people would go nuts on myspace I emailed a couple of times back and forward with Jason. About what? About SIEGE motherfucker! One of the very finest movies to come out of Canada. Here, check it out: (German trailer but you get the idea)
2: With all the recent "Exploitation/Grindhouse/70's throwback films" It would be fairly easy to jump on that train, fabricate the trendy scratches and celluloid catching fire gimmicks. Instead, Hobo came out as a clean, yet pretty nasty in a fun way, stylish little movie.
3: The plague! Two ultra villains that sometimes made me feel like I was watching a mid 90's GWAR show with a hint of Django and mid 80's Gary Busey action movies. Or something like that. Best villains since Under Siege 2 or Cobra starring Stallone.

4: A couple of assholes walking around torching a schoolbus full of kids with a flamethrower while blasting Disco Inferno from a stereo...need I say more? Glickenhaus and Buntzman should get a kick out of this!
5: Rutger fuckin' Hauer! Who would've thought that a established MONUMENT of an actor would be a part of a "little low budget exploitation movies" in this day and age? Not just for the people who know him for his american productions will love this, but for us Belgians and Dutch folks who basically grew up watching him on television and movies should get a kick out of this one! Pretty damn cool.
6: The Soundtrack! I'm always complaing about soundtracks in almost everything post 1990. Crap stinking up the whole movie. But like a man over on youtube said..."It works, just like the rest of the movie!"
In general, this movie made me feel like I was 14 again sitting in a local theatre watching stuff like The Toxic Avenger for the first time. 10/10
