Memorabilia part 8, Some European VHS covers.

A couple of favorites in this post.
First up are H.B. Halicki's two chase classics: Gone in 60 Seconds and The Junkman.
I don't know why they changed the title for The Junkman, but I do know, that both movies sure beat the hell out of later releases, where they had to mess with the soundtracks. I'll just stick with these two. Scrrrrewww DVD!

One of my favorite Dutch covers of all time is this one for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I think it's the first official TCM release in europe and this one had our imaginations run in overdrive during our daily videostore visits. WHen we finally had the guts to rent it...well...never mind.

Ah, Dawn of the Dead. The European cut. Never knew there was a US version untill DVD came along and it took me a while to get used of the Romero Version. Anyway, the one on the right is one of those tapes we rented atleast 75 times, this was (is!) the shit!! Ultraviolent and scored by Goblin...what else do you want?

Let me tell you what else you want...
A shameless Italian Dawn of the Dead rip off! Including it's soundtrack!
Hell of the Living Dead, spelled wrong. Amazing cover, amazing movie! Yeah, I don't get it when people say it's a piece of shit film. It's a Zombie film that beats ANY zombie film made after Savini's Night of the Living Dead remake. And yes, all of em.

Here's a nasty one. Wes craven's Last House on the Left. Nasty cover for a nasty movie.

Something 'lighter' here...Four of the Five (or six?) Aces Go Places movies. I love these. Good old fashioned wrecking shit up and some laughs. Think if Hal Needham would've been asian.

A couple of Biker movies. Love the middle one on top, it's the ex renatl for Bury me an Angel. A title that's way up there with the likes of "I Spit on your Grave", "Last House on the Left", "The Candy Snatchers" and so on. Pretty cool movie.

Mark Lester's STUNTS starring Robert Forster. I love this one and the video sleeve. Picture is taken from a French Stuntshow by Jean Sunny and his crew. I've seen this picture on another videosleeve too, I think it was for the "Goodtime Outlaws", will check that out later. Need to know now.

Yep, same one, Good Time Outlaws. Sorry for the picture, took this one real quick.

Well, not much time today, could go one for hours. But here's a picture of the whole pile.
