Transporter The Series First Look

Here's the first trailer for Cinemax's new TV series Transporter, which is the small screen adaptation of Luc Besson and Jason Statham's action-packed movie franchise. Besson serves as an executive producer on the series, and the role of the Transporter is being played by Chris Vance (Burn Notice), who seems to give the character more of a James Bond kind of feel to him. The Transporter film franchise has been entertaining to watch over the years, and it looks like this series will be just as action-packed and entertaining.

Here's the synopsis: Based on the successful film franchise of the same name created by Europacorp's Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen, this fast-paced series follows the adventures of professional transporter Frank Martin, who can always be counted on to get the job done 'discreetly'.

New Arrow Spoiler James Callis Cast As Dodger

 Battlestar actorJames Callis is set to tackle the role of the international jewel thief Dodger.  The Dodger is also said to imposes his plans on the innocent, forcing them to carry out his crimes under duress. 

When the Sherwood Ruby goes missing in Starling City, the ensuing investigation leads Oliver "Stephen Amell" and Diggle "David Ramsey" straight to The Dodger, but apprehending him won’t be as easy as they may have thought. It’s unclear as to whether or not Arrow’s version of Dodger is the same villain turned ally as in the DC Comics. Callis is set to also appear in the episode that introduces Colton Haynes as Roy Harper,which is to air on                     Wednesday, February 20th. Jackie Chan Joins Expendables 3

 The Hong Kong star confirms his more than a minor role in the latest installment the Sylvester Stallone franchise, as he readies another action-comedy a week after describing the genre as one he “dislikes most.”

The next installment of The Expendables franchise will now take on a more distinct Chinese flavor, with Jackie Chan joining the Sylvester Stallone project in what the Hong Kong star described as a significant role.

 In April 2012, Steven Seagal said that he had been offered a role in a third film.In August 2012, producer Avi Lerner confirmed that Nicolas Cage had been signed for the potential sequel. He also stated that the producers were intending to bring back the series' current stars, attempting to have Rourke reprise his role, had already approached Clint Eastwood about a role, and had plans to pursue Harrison Ford and to approach Wesley Snipes following his release from prison.


Stallone said: "We are thinking about different concepts the third one is the hardest. The second is the natural progression. The third, that’s when the air gets rare. We’re thinking ambitiously about it... You now have to give audiences something they don’t expect at all – maybe even going into a different genre." Arrow The Dark Archer

The actor talks with THR about whether or not Tommy’s father is the mysterious Dark Archer copy cat killer and how his son will fare now that he’s been cut off. John Barrowman's Malcolm Merlyn wants his screwball son to get his butt in gear and he isn't afraid to throw him to the wolves to get him there on the CW's freshman drama Arrow.



As it turns out, the tough-love father wants Tommy to be more like Starling City's hooded hero Arrow, the archer with a hit list ridding the home he loves from the crime and corrupt officials who have taken over.  And Tommy (Colin Donnell)  turned to Oliver for a job at his club  it turns out Malcolm might just be projecting what he wants for himself onto his son. Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) will square off against the Dark Archer on Wednesday's Arrow as his alter ego faces what's being stated as his most formidable opponent to date.  Episode Airs December 12th Will this be the best episode of Arrow to air yet .

Colton Haynes Will Star As Speedy In Arrow

The CW's Arrow may have just found its Speedy. Teen Wolf co star Colton Haynes has booked a recurring role on the action series, playing  as Roy Harper, a teen who crosses paths with Oliver's (Stephen Amell) sister Thea. As first reported by TV Guide Magazine, Haynes' Roy is a handsome, street-savvy teen from the Glades, the poverty-stricken area of Starling City who winds up being the object of affection for Thea, despite her own misgivings and those of her family. The character, the CW confirms, is "destined" to become a significant part of her life and an important player in the drama from Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg's world.



In the DC Comics on which the series is based, Roy Harper is Green Arrow's teen sidekick known as Speedy, who first appears alongside the hooded hero in 1941's More Fun Comics #73. More recently, the character was a member of the Teen Titans known as Arsenal and ultimately a member of the Justice League of America, where he was known as Red Arrow.

Uncle Ben Returns In Amazing Spider-Man 2

Martin Sheen's Uncle Ben Returns For 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2,' Shooting Starts In February. Its not a surprise given that the memory of Uncle Ben is a key emotional hook for Peter Parker in both the comics and movies. Featured on Hitting Ireland's "The Late Late Show" last week to talk about his human rights project “Voices From The Front Line,” Martin Sheen revealed that he's been  asked to return for the  Spidey sequel. "Well they called me back, I don't know what the part's going to be but I'm going to be Uncle Ben once again in 'Spider-Man' next year. We shoot in February," he told host Ryan Tubridy. Of course, since he died in the last movie, it's pretty safe to say he'll be relegated to flashbacks.

Sheen joins the growing cast that includes newcomers Dane DeHaan, Jamie Foxx and Shailene Woodley with the returning Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. 

Columbia Pictures Hires Becky Johnston To Rewrite Salt 2

Really no word on the project  for some time now, but it appears that Columbia Pictures is still going forward on a sequel to the 2010 spy thriller Salt.  Back in June of last year, the studio hired the first film’s scribe, Kurt Wimmer, to start working on a follow up to the Phillip Noyce thriller. After reports that star Angelina Jolie wasn’t too keen on the existing script for the sequel and had yet to sign on, THR now reports that Becky Johnston has been brought in to reconceive the script. Johnston is probably best known for penning the 1991 romantic drama The Prince of Tides as well as the 1997 Brad Pitt-starrer Seven Years in Tibet.  There’s no firm word on what the follow up will entail, but the first film involved a CIA officer played by Jolie who discovered that she was actually a Russian sleeper cell agent.

Beauty and the Beast Episode 9 Bridesmaid Up Promo

Tron Legacy Sequel Gets Another New Writer As Development Continues

According to THR, the sequel to 2010's "Tron: Legacy" will be "back in development, " though we'd argue it almost certainly wasn't that far gone firstly. Almost since the day movie opened , Disney has been ready  to exploit the  franchise , and are at this time gonig strong while using the animated "Tron: Uprising" in Disney Xd.



And in the summer of 2011 Mark Digilio was hired to publish a draft for what will be "Tron 3, essentially. Well, they've appreciated his services and now another pen will tackle the script, Jesse Wigutow ("It Runs From the Family, " "The Crow" reboot that's stuck throughout development hell) will now put fingertips to keyboard with the project that nonetheless has Joseph Kosinski placed on direct. Of training course, story details along with who may or is probably not returning is still up in the air, but we'd think the studio should rope in the principle trio of Garrett Hedlund.

Arrow Episode 9 Year's End Promo

Oliver discovers that after hm and his father went missing, Moira and Thea stopped celebrating Christmas. Determined to make up for lost time and restore a sense of normalcy to the Queen household, Oliver decides to throw the family a Christmas party. Halle Berry Might Return In X-Men Days Of Future Past

It was recently announced that Hugh Jackman may be signing on for the upcoming X-Men: Days Of Future Past film, and Halle and James Marsden are also in talks to make an appearance as well.  Halle and James would reprise their roles as Storm and Cyclops, respectively, in the action flick where their characters “would only be featured in an alternate, dystopian version of the world, in which giant robots called ‘Sentinels’ have come to eradicate the entire race of mutants.”

Man Of Steel New Poster Superman In Cuffs

A new poster for director Zack Snyder’s upcoming Superman reboot Man of Steel has been released, and Supes doesn’t look to be doing too well.  We know very little about the film so it’s tough to make any assumptions about the story based on this image/poster, but it’s safe to say that Henry Cavill’s Superman won’t be loved by all.  The poster does give us a great look at the full suit, however, and it’s certainly in keeping with Snyder’s “serious” approach to the character.  The new trailer for the film will be attached to the premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in theaters soon.

New Jack Reacher Japanese Trailer

Even though it’s in Japanese, this new trailer for Jack Reacher shows off more plot than any of the previous trailers combined. Plus, it’s not exactly light on action either. Director Christopher McQuarrie’s adaptation of Lee Child’s novel stars Tom Cruise as the titular character, a man who exists outside the law and exacts his own brand of ruthless justice. Also starring Werner Herzog, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins, Robert Duvall, Jai Courtney and David Oyelowo, Jack Reacher opens December 21st. The CW Announces Premiere Date For Cult

 The CW has announced their new midseason show, Cult will be premiering  on Feb 19th. The new psycho-thriller-drama is  about a cult leader whose followers begin to behave erratically and disappear. Then real-life "Cult" fans start to follow the same path as the made-up cult followers. Check out a preview below.

Amazing Spiderman 2 Harry Osborn Is Dane DeHaan

Chronicle star Dane DeHaan has officially joined the cast of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as Harry Osborn, Sony has confirmed. The news was revealed by director Marc Webb, who tweeted this morning, “Meet Harry Osborn. So excited to have him on board. @danedehaan.” Added the filmmaker in a statement, “Dane is an exciting and extraordinary young actor and he is a fantastic addition to our cast.”

Arrow New Character Shado

Shado is the newest cast member for the hit series Arrow . Shado is set to be the  young daughter of  Yao Fei, the one who  saved Oliver’s life on the island in previous episodes. She will also have that familiar dragon tattoo we’ve seen throughout the show. During the first episode she appears in, we discover her being held captive in which her father, Yao comes to the rescue to save her. Shado first appearance is scheduled for episode 14, in which is set to be titled “The Odyssey.”  Release Date is still to be announced.
