Sore Losers

Damn! The Sore Losers video shoot was a blast! I gotta say that getting out of bed at 6am and take a train to Antwerp was a pain in the ass. But like I said...The shoot was a lotta fun.
For the Sore Losers video Toon Aerts yet again had some of the finest people on set working hard and making it all work. I like that, never a boring moment and everyone knew and did what had to be done. It's pretty crazy what we did in one weekend. There were people flying through the air in wires, dudes getting blown through walls, we got shot, we got stabbed, punched, blown up, kicked...And we got to do a little shooting ourselves! Here're a few pictures. Video will be all over the place in a little while.

Swampmonsters, polyester and machineguns.

More then a month since the last update here. Well, nothing THAT spectacular happened besides the fact that me and the misses have moved to a new appartment. Pretty fancy place with plenty of room for our stuff...finally!

I have been doing some stuff for a tv show recently. They needed someone to play a burning swampmonster, so who do you call who is willing to jump into a dirty pond at 4am in the morning with a polyester monster suit on and willing to set it on fire? Right, yours truly. I did three burns that morning,using watergel for the first time and let me tell you, what a revelation! It was provided by the network. The suits were also provided by them and I can tell you, I was not happy with the polyester issue. But I was able to work it out on the spot to make sure nothing really could go wrong and I was in the water anyway. The local fire brigade was on shore just in case as there were some majore fire explosions involved too. I can assure you, walking around on fire at 4am in the morning through a pond in the middle of nowhere with big explosions going of sending these huge mushroom like flames up in the sky is defenitly a pretty cool experience. The down part was the long waits and my 'waterproof' pants and boots being filled with icecold water. Another one for the list.

Next sunday i'll be on set for the videoshoot of my brother's new band The Sore Losers. Looking forward being on set again with Toon Aerts. I haven't worked with Toon since the Back from the Grave video a few years ago. h yeah, there was the post nuke photoshoot, but I rather be on set with him. Toon sounded very excited on the phone earlier this week. He said something about wirework, machineguns, squibs and all in all, a whole lotta action!
